How Safe Are Citrus Aromas Cleaning Products?
You can cook with the baking soda and vinegar we use to clean! The Citrus Essential Oils can be used to disinfect, sooth or cleanse your skin. When we say Strictly Natural, we mean it!

What do I need to do to prepare for Citrus Aromas on my cleaning day?
To help us maximize our cleaning efficiency and focus on doing an exceptional job cleaning your home:
- Please remove all items that may delay our cleaning. It will save you money and save us time.
- If you have children, for safety reasons, we ask that they be supervised while we clean.
- Please ensure we can readily gain access to your home when we arrive for cleaning: deactivate your security alarm prior, or provide us with a code. If we are unable to access your home, you will be charged 50% of your service fee.
- Place clean linens on the bed if you would like for us to change the sheets and remake the bed with clean linens.
- Hang pictures frames and mirrors on sturdy wall hooks appropriate for the weight of the hanging item.
- Also inspect the hanging wire and replace if faulty.
- Check and repair loose or broken items, such as towel racks, toilet paper holders, microwave and refrigerator handles, glass shelves, etc.
What is Citrus Aromas Cleaning Schedule?
Our regular cleaning schedule (not including the major holidays) is:
- Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm
Please note that for emergency cleaning outside our regular cleaning schedule, we are very flexible, depending on client's request. Contact us today with your request.
What time will Citrus Aromas arrive?
We clean between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm. Based on your scheduled time we will arrive 30 minutes before your appointment time. And for any unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic, running late, we will dully notify you.
How long will it take Citrus Aromas to clean my home?
Our cleaning time depends on your cleaning order and the square footage of your place. For example, a basic cleaning order for home of 1,500 square footage may take up to 3 hours to clean. But a large cleaning order for a space up to 3,000 square footage may take us up to 5 hours to clean.
Do I need to be home when Citrus Aromas arrive? What about my keys?
You don't need to be home when we clean. For convenience, most clients provide us with a key so we can clean when they are not home. You can leave a key for us at the initial cleaning, or you can schedule a key pick up with a supervisor before your scheduled clean date. All keys are given a code designation and secured when not in use.
Do I need to provide any supplies or cleaning equipment?
We provide all our own equipment and supplies. Citrus Aromas is Strictly Natural! we use plant based and natural minerals (e.g. baking soda) cleaning products. Our products are environmentally friendly, non-toxic, non-abrasive, and non-allergenic. You will never have to leave the room or open the windows to avoid breathing toxic fumes, because there will be no toxic fumes in your home. We use no waxes, polishes, ammonia, bleach, or alcohol-based products. Also, as part of our Green Promise, we use steam mops to clean and sanitize your floors, thus allowing us to use less water in our cleaning.
If Citrus Aromas does not use bleach, what is use to disinfect and sanitize?
Because we are Strictly Natural, we substitute natural white vinegar for our disinfecting cleaning agent, and, in addition, we use the natural antiviral power of citrus oil such as lemon and lime to disinfect and sanitize your home. When we say Strictly Natural! we mean business!
What should I do with my pet while Citrus Aromas is cleaning?
We kindly ask you secure all pets in their cages, a closed room or outside in a locked area so that they don't interfere with staff's cleaning and safety.
Does Citrus Aromas provide laundry or dish washing services?
We do provide dish washing service at extra charge, but not laundry, at least not yet.
What if something breaks while Citrus Aromas is cleaning?
We take great care in cleaning your home. However, if something is accidentally damaged by our professionals, we will take full responsibility for the damage. We are insured and bonded! We carry liability insurance that protects you and will cover any damage to your home or property while we are on your property cleaning. However, when it comes to items or collections of significant sentimental or monetary value, we ask that clients bring these items to our attention and direct us to avoid cleaning them. But we prefer you secure any irreplaceable, collectible or expensive objects before we start cleaning.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel an appointment?
You may cancel or reschedule, but we require a 24-hour advance notice to cancel your appointment without penalty.
